Many people displaced by May 11 fight between Ma’aliya and Rezeigat tribes

The fighting spread from just north of Abu Karinka, East Darfur, before moving into the northern parts of that town.  There are reports that weapons were fired into people’s homes, displacing a very large number of people.  More on this as aid groups, UN agencies and government agencies verify what happened.
